STODDARTSVILLE PRESERVATION SOCIETY

Stoddartsville, Pennsylvania

The Stoddartsville Preservation Society (SPS) was founded in 2011 by a group of individuals with a passion for preserving the special history of the town. The founding members wished for a logo that featured the mill, the structure on which much of the town’s history is rooted.

Situated on the Lehigh River, the small town has a legacy rich in local history. The group’s mission is to “discover, preserve, and protect the history of Stoddartsville and surrounding areas of Luzerne and Monroe counties and to provide educational opportunities relative to this history.”

A rack card and signage were produced to promote the SPS’s grand opening of their historic center, and postcards are created for the group’s meetings twice a year.

All work is donated and free of charge.
